23 Taken To Hospital In St. Thomas Aquinas CO Incident

DERRY, N.H. -- Fire officials were investigating a carbon monoxide incident at St. Thomas Aquinas School in Derry on Wednesday.

Officials said 23 students and teachers were taken to a hospital. One student and one teacher collapsed when fire officials arrived. Their current condition wasn't known.

Some of those being treated were not showing symptoms, but officials said they had higher than normal levels of carbon monoxide in their systems.

The building was evacuated, and students were moved to a church on the campus. Officials said they isolated the problem to the third floor and were venting the building.

That sucks! I hate to say it though, but the first thing that drew me to this story was the fact that CNN News cited WMUR on its front page
